Standard equipment included a very long list of just about everything available in 1960 Autos

  • Power brakes and steering, automatic transmission, dual back-up lamps, windshield wipers, two-speed wipers, wheel discs, outside rearview mirror, vanity mirror, oil filter, power windows, six-way power seats, heater, fog lamps, Eldorado engine, remote control trunk lock, radio with antenna and rear speaker, power vent windows, air suspension, electric door locks, license frames, and five whitewall tires. 
  • Technical highlights were finned rear drums and an X-frame construction. 
  • Optional Equipment included was Cruise Control, air conditioning and E-Z Eye glass 

Autronic Eye - **Take Note the large piece in the middle of the Dash** 

  • This feature would automatically dim your high beams by sensing the oncoming headlights of cars coming your way in the other lane and then automatically for oncoming cars and then put your high beams back on after the car had passed. Quite revolutionary for 1960!

Fun Fact: The 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 6467E is featured as Maurice Minnifield's vehicle in the 1990s television series Northern Exposure.
