Description and history
The current owner found this car under a
tarp in a barn near Spokane Washington in 2002. This “barn find” Jaguar was part of an
extensive British car collection, and had not been driven since 1982. Due to the extremely dry
climate, this car has minimal rust, and after cleaning and polishing the paint and chrome are
quite presentable albeit with some ‘60’s patina. The car contains no electronic parts, which
may be of interest to some. The Jaguar has been stored in a heated garage since 2002, and
has never been driven in the rain.

sprayed with black undercoating. The suspension was
totally disassembled, powder coated, and reassembled with
new neoprene bushings and shock absorbers. The new
exhaust pipes are stainless steel.
While every effort was made to tighten all clamps and seals, the car is still, to some extent, a
self lubricating British car. The original radio works…..until it doesn’t. There is a small rusty
patch in a low visibility area which was
present at time of purchase and has not
changed in 20 years. This car has been
very well received in numerous local car
shows and is quite presentable. The car
will be a joy to own and drive for the right
owner who appreciates unaltered
originality and the beauty of a true
classic.
